You Won’t Believe Dems’ Plan To Win Back Male Voters (Actually, Yes You Will)

You Won’t Believe Dems’ Plan To Win Back Male Voters (Actually, Yes You Will)

“Speaking with American Men: A Strategic Plan” — to “study the syntax, language and content that gains attention and virality in these spaces,” including buying advertisements in video games.

Democrats have a perception problem according to The New York Times, Six Months Later, Democrats Are Still Searching for the Path Forward:

After around 250 focus groups of swing voters, a few patterns have emerged, said the researcher, Anat Shenker-Osorio. Republicans are seen as “apex predators,” like lions, tigers and sharks — beasts that take what they want when they want it. Democrats are typically tagged as tortoises, slugs or sloths: slow, plodding, passive.

Admit it, you smiled when you read that. If you didn’t smile, you lack human emotions.

Six months after President Trump swept the battleground states, the Democratic Party is still sifting through the wreckage. Its standing has plunged to startling new lows — 27 percent approval in a recent NBC News poll, the weakest in surveys dating to 1990 — after a defeat that felt like both a political and cultural rejection.

Communities that Democrats had come to count on for a generation or more — young people, Black voters, Latinos — all veered toward the right in 2024, some of them sharply.

The stark reality is that the downward trend for Democrats stretches back further than a single election. Republicans have been gaining ground in voter registration for years. Working-class voters of every race have been steadily drifting toward the G.O.P. And Democrats are increasingly perceived as the party of college-educated elites, the defenders of a political and economic system that most Americans feel is failing them.

Wait a second. The light bulb just went on. A problem for Democrats is that they are “increasingly perceived as the party of college-educated elites.”

Well, well, well, perhaps there’s a political method to going after elite colleges like Harvard, whether intended for that purpose or not.  Trump is picking a fight even Democrats know he will win with the broader electorate regardless of how the courts rule.

Democrats have another problem. Men.

Even the gender gap — which had long benefited Democrats — helped Republicans in 2024 as men swung harder to the right.

Now, top party officials, activists and donors are broadly weighing how to rebuild, and reassessing how to speak to voters, how to listen to them and how to reach those who have tuned out entirely….

For now, Democratic donors and strategists have been gathering at luxury hotels to discuss how to win back working-class voters, commissioning new projects that can read like anthropological studies of people from faraway places.

The prospectus for one new $20 million effort, obtained by The Times, aims to reverse the erosion of Democratic support among young men, especially online. It is code-named SAM — short for “Speaking with American Men: A Strategic Plan” — and promises investment to “study the syntax, language and content that gains attention and virality in these spaces.” It recommends buying advertisements in video games, among other things.

“Above all, we must shift from a moralizing tone,” it urges.

Yeah, that’s the ticket, that will work. Almost as well as Pajama Boy:

But seriously. As Mike points out, “Treating men like an alien species should work out just great.”

David Hogg actually makes sense here, that shows you how weird things are getting:

DNC Vice Chair David Hogg recently proposed that the left could address their issues with young men by letting them “focus” on what they should be focused on, “which is how to get laid and how to have fun.”

On the other hand:

Dems have been there, done that.

I don’t think they are going to make it.

El Rushbo would call it the “chickification” of the Democrat Party:

RUSH LIMBAUGH: Twenty-two women, not a single man, not a guy. There’s not a guy in this picture. And what this picture is, is the Hillary Clinton press corps. This is it.

[…]

Chickification of the news is exactly right and this is the epitome of it. If you wonder why the Hillary news coverage is the way it is, you simply have to look at that picture. You simply have to find out who it is covering the news about her, and it will tell you everything you need to know. And this is done, by the way, on purpose. The chickification of the news is made up of many facets, but one of the facets is that men really can’t be fair to women. Not that they try to be unfair, but they just can’t fully relate. It takes a woman to understand a woman. It takes a woman to get deep with another woman. It takes a woman to understand. And so, that’s the press gaggle that follows Hillary Clinton around. Print, online, radio, TV — you name it. And it’s better than anything anybody could ever say to explain the type of and the nature of the sympathetic coverage that Hillary Clinton gets. Hillary Clinton is perceived to be a victim. She’s always playing the victim card. She’s always whining about being a woman, or making a point of being a woman — as though that’s somehow an obstacle and it’s punishing in our unfair society. And as a way of equalizing it, everybody covering her also happens to be female. [Transcription via Media Matters]

Translation of Hogg speech: “I just want to get laid.”

They should just give it a rest already. Their problem with men is their women, at least according to men’s rights and the MGTOW movement.

For sure the Democrats don’t have a lot of value choices on their woman menu anymore.

artichoke in reply to ztakddot. | May 25, 2025 at 11:12 pm

and what’s wrong with that? I agree with him. He’s become very polished at Harvard (remember he was admitted to Harvard with 1200 SAT’s, and a non-woke student who had been admitted had their admission revoked).

I love it that the Dems are rejecting him. He’s smoother than the people they’ve got, it’s no accident that he squeezed into a vice-chair seat in the DNC. He’s pretty skinny so I’ll say I wouldn’t trust him 1/10 as far as I could throw him.

Evil Otto in reply to artichoke. | May 26, 2025 at 7:29 am

He was only rejected by the Dems when he started making threats against the old guard. He assumed he had actual power in his new job when he wasn’t more than an assistant manager. And the AM doesn’t get to tell McDonalds corporate that their burgers suck and he’s gunning for their jobs.

The old fiends taught him where power really lies.

ztakddot in reply to artichoke. | May 26, 2025 at 2:32 pm

He’s an asshat and still ignorant after all these years when it comes to guns. Furthermore he is grifting off a tragedy that he wasn’t a party too since he wasn’t at school that day. He was like an ambulance chaser hearing about the shooting and quickly peddling to school to take advantage of the tragedy. This is the true mark of a grifter.

    diver64 in reply to ztakddot. | May 26, 2025 at 5:23 am

Maybe. Probably but he wasn’t wrong. That ad with the gay guys trying to be farmers or something was the funniest and strangest thing I’ve seen in political ads. I’m not the only one that thought it was a joke when I first saw it. Studying men like they are wild animals to “understand them” shows how far out of touch the Dems are. No need to study anything, just get out of the colleges and big city metro area’s and talk to people.

      CommoChief in reply to diver64. | May 26, 2025 at 7:17 am

Not even out of the Cities and Colleges. Interview men outside the careers/fields of.study dominated by leftists and the answers are there. It seems like the wokiesta leftists want to install ‘rule by Karen’ where anything/anyone that offends the sensibilities of depressed, bitter cat ladies must be punished, mocked and ostracized.

ztakddot in reply to CommoChief. | May 26, 2025 at 2:35 pm

The democrats are just like disney. To quote South Park:

Put a chick in it and make her kame and gay.

That is exactly who they replace hogg with and who mostly runs the party.

Dimsdale in reply to ztakddot. | May 26, 2025 at 7:36 pm

Hogg is a twink; a sniveling, noodle armed beta male whose only chance of scoring is with a trans”woman” or using roofies.

I like the picture of Rush. Looks like he’s about to grab a woman by the shoulders, sit her down, and start mansplaining to her. 🙂

Meeting at a luxury hotel to discuss how to connect with working class voters. No self awareness what-so-damn-ever.

Their real obstacle, of course, is that people can tell when you’re being fake.

Are there truly no men left in the Democratic Party? Not even bonafide metrosexuals?

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to Red Echos. | May 25, 2025 at 11:01 pm

I’ve heard that Tim, Walz guy is a chick magnet and a total stud!

I know a couple of good auditory specialists, but you’ll have to come to San Antonio… 🙂

For some reason I watched a video last night of the Vance/Walz debate moderated by those 2 smug angry chicks. Jeez, Walz is a weirdo and the women were cringe nasty, the type of arrogant college woman you meet at a party and immediately look for a way to get away from. No wonder men deserted for Trump.

The trope of MAGA/MAHA/Tea.Party/center right populist movement that it is an alliance of the jocks, cheerleaders, chess club and AV club against the stoners, weirdos and so forth isn’t entirely off base. There’s more than a grain of truth to that. The problem for the lefty wokiestas is they seem incapable of active listening and instead simply wait for their turn to speak, at best and at worst shout down and disrupt any alternative views in favor of delivering a lecture on whatever topic the memo of the the day tells them. The d/prog are becoming little more than unthinking NPCs delivering preprogrammed responses, incapable of independent thought, self criticism and taking responsibility. If someone is refusing accountability and rejecting consequences for clear and unambiguous transgressions you can safely bet they are a lefty wokiesta and likely on the verge of claiming victim status to avoid responsibility. Until they stop that childish crap they are gonna struggle with male voters.

artichoke in reply to CommoChief. | May 25, 2025 at 11:18 pm

You are too smug. We just won a non-landslide and didn’t flip a single blue state against the worst major party ticket in US history. We are facing a party that was able to install an Indonesian as president for 8 years to fundamentally change America, who still lives in DC running apparently a terrorist rats’ nest in his big fancy house where the Israeli Embassy shooter went before his dirty deed.

They’ve known more about organizing from elementary school that most “principled conservative” Republicans (bitter laugh because they’re so ineffective politically, always playing for the tie) will ever know.

CommoChief in reply to artichoke. | May 26, 2025 at 6:27 am

Oh I can definitely be smug even arrogant but the topic here is about the shift in male voters away from the d/prog not about organizing prowess. IMO the more independent minded and self sufficient people don’t tend to be as enthusiastic about joining org as those who believe in a more collectivist philosophy.

Take a look at the exit polling from ’08 through ’24 and you will see an unmistakable trend line of the male voters moving away from d/prog. This holds across ‘race’. It is especially pronounced among those without a 4 year degree and and holds true for this with a 4 year degree but not an MA/MS/PhD/JD/MD.

So true, I want to come back as a political consultant (or any consultant) in my next life. Completely worthless trash but rich (and smug) as hell.

“Democrats have a perception problem according to The New York Times, Six Months Later, Democrats Are Still Searching for the Path Forward:”

Ah, so THAT’S what they mean by “we’re looking forward now.”
Not so much down a forest trail, as for the secret door to the escape room.

“study the syntax, language and content that gains attention and virality in these spaces.”

Finding out what size, shape, and color of paddle most attracts rats to push it… without the actual cocaine reward, if possible.

The males (and a couple of men) on the vid sound like they have a valid message – kinda sorta. But the effeminate tweety with the windmill pump in the background looks like he’s more than slightly light in the loafers. And as for Fluffy watering his flowers … uh, no. Yup, cringy for sure.

Democratic donors and strategists have been gathering at luxury hotels to discuss how to win back working-class voters

If they were serious about that, they’d be gathering at a Motel 6 or Red Roof Inn.

Heaven forfend they should actually study these wild creatures in their natural habitat.

The Gentle Grizzly in reply to nordic prince. | May 25, 2025 at 10:45 pm

How about: Cars & Coffee, car shows, motorcycle gatherings like Sturgiss? As for the bleeding-away of the Hispanic vote: low-rider shows, street festivals?

I don’t know… those plaid pajamas are pretty snazzy. I’d stick with that kind of approach. Should work great – for us.

Remember the “Coffee Party”, or whatever the hell they called it? That went off like a wet squib.

“Tea Party”, Milhouse, in reference to Boston. And it was killed by leftist lawfare and censorship.

Martin in reply to Rusty Bill. | May 26, 2025 at 8:57 am

No Milhouse is talking about one of the Democrat responses to the “Tea Party”. They did indeed call it the coffee party and it was a momentary news story. It was primarily for the press to try to have a counter story to the tea party. Wet squib definitely describe the “Coffee party”.

The tea party on the other had some success and continues to exist inside the republican party. It might have become a bigger force but the Obama admin was allowed to persecute them via the IRS specifically Lois Lerner

          Correction noted.

Milhouse in reply to Milhouse. | May 26, 2025 at 10:08 am

The TEA Party movement was very successful, and was the cause for the 2010 Republican sweep in the House. Unfortunately the Senate proved to be a big obstacle. Not enough Republicans got in, and of the ones that did too many were not on board with the program.

TEA stood for “Taxed Enough Already”.

ztakddot in reply to Milhouse. | May 26, 2025 at 2:38 pm

Republican politicians killed the movement by climbing on board and coopting it. It should have stayed a non-partisan grassroots movement.

          diver64 in reply to Milhouse. | May 27, 2025 at 6:16 am

The biggest obstacle was Lois Lerner and her weaponization of the IRS to deny tax exempt status to right wing groups preventing them from raising money. That’s what killed The Tea Party.

OwenKellogg-Engineer in reply to The Gentle Grizzly. | May 26, 2025 at 6:41 am

I wouldn’t give them ideas. Let them keep Tim Walz who can code talk to white guys.’ I’d rather they keep stumbling along that path and never figuring it out.

It’s kind of hilarious how they struggle so to “get it”.

“Hillary Clinton is perceived to be a victim. She’s always playing the victim card. She’s always whining about being a woman.”

Not a woman. A succubus.

Evil arrogance incarnate.

    diver64 in reply to Spike3. | May 26, 2025 at 5:32 am

She was not perceived as a victim. She was always whining and trying to be one, though and people saw right through it. The “isn’t it time we had a woman President” line went over as well as Kamala “vote for the first black woman” line did. People want someone to lead the country not tick a box and that is what the Dems fail to grasp.

Some things never change. The Democrat party is out of power but the consultants who helped them get there still have to eat. The fact that it’s all a scam never bothered them before. Why would it bother them now?

LeftWingLock | May 26, 2025 at 3:38 am

The solution, of course, is simple. Just get a Federal Judge to take away the vote from men. Ds win in a landslide. Problem solved. You’re welcome.

My biggest problem with Ds is their judgmental condemnation of everything that traditional men like or their attempts to rebrand/remake all things masculine to become completely unrecognizable.

Stop already!!!!!!!!

The cuckification of the vile, emasculated, arrogant and dim-witted Dhimmi-crat Party is in full swing, led by its most clueless apparatchiks and pollsters.

Don’t tell the Democrats that a good start would be to support law enforcement; support law and order on our streets; and support tough, long prison sentences (and keep them in prison). That would be a start, but don’t tell them.

I mean, like, what the Dems need is a super cool new slogan moving forwards to get men back in the fold. I came up with a awesome slogan combining patriotism, subtle misogyny, and a bad word used appropriately, not gratuitously. “Country over cuents”. Could even use a symbol like c/c as a dog whistle kind of thing. Please remember this is a joke and I hope everyone enjoys this somber Memorial Day.

McGehee 🇺🇲 | May 26, 2025 at 10:12 am

“I know! We’ll win over the male vote by bringing back the buttonhook and the sidesaddle!”

…would make about as much sense.

Rupert Smedley Hepplewhite | May 26, 2025 at 10:16 am

It’s impossible to accept what that guy on the truck tailgate says. He needs to check his stance; he posed – and talked – like a girl.

The Dhimmi-crats should run TV ads featuring rappers dressed in “gangsta” garb, with full “bling,” sporting firearms, smoking marijuana joints and with copious “ho’s” surrounding them.

Such an appeal would still be less stupid, pandering and offensive than the Dhimmi-crats’ current proposal to win over black male voters.

Alex deWynter | May 26, 2025 at 11:19 am

“Democrats are increasingly perceived as the party of college-educated elites.”

No, they’re not. They’re increasingly perceived as the party of elitists, not elites.

Alex deWynter | May 26, 2025 at 12:20 pm

“Speaking with American Men: A Strategic Plan” — and promises investment to “study the syntax, language and content that gains attention and virality in these spaces.” It recommends buying advertisements in video games, among other things.

And, once again, the Demleft illustrates its fundamental inability (or perhaps simply refusal) to get the point. An ad is not speaking WITH people, it’s speaking AT them. They’re right back to their “we need to have a conversation about [whatever]” where their definition of ‘conversation’ was ‘we spout whatever nonsense we please and you listen in cowed silence, nodding when we tell you to.’

destroycommunism | May 26, 2025 at 1:14 pm

the dems will also put an extra supply of tampoons in mens bathrooms to really increase their connecting to men

oh and they will no doubt push laws to equalize the bias to women and bring back the true meaning of equality

“… helped Republicans in 2024 as men swung harder to the right … “focus” on what they should be focused on: “which is how to get laid and how to have fun.””

Heh heh, our new slogan:

“Swing hard. Vote Republican!”

“D” = Dimly lit. the Left is SO shocked by the message from the 2024 election that they may never recover. And, frankly, I pray they do not. They are NOT something that belongs in a Republic.
