Rep. Max Miller (R-OH) says he was deliberately run off the road Thursday morning in what he described as a politically motivated, anti-Israel assault. The Ohio congressman, one of only two Jewish Republicans in Congress, called the incident a “targeted attack.”
Miller posted a video message on X shortly after the incident, detailing what happened and condemning the act of politically driven violence:
The deranged hatred in this country has gotten out of control. Today I was run off the road in Rocky River, and the life of me and my family was threatened by a person who proceeded to show a Palestinian flag before taking off. I have filed a police report with Capitol Police and… pic.twitter.com/H6JnupcRIA

(Full transcript below:)
“Let’s make something abundantly clear to anyone who needs to see this — which apparently is a lot of people: If you have an issue with a legislator, your city councilman, your mayor, anyone like that, the appropriate thing to do is to reach out to them for a phone call, to set up a meeting at one of our district offices.
What is not okay is to assault anyone — whether you’re a member of Congress or anybody else within our district — while you are driving to work.
In Ohio, at seven this morning, as I was driving to work, some unhinged, deranged man decided to lay on his horn and run me off the road when he couldn’t get my attention, to show me a Palestinian flag. Not to mention: ‘Death to Israel,’ ‘Death to me,’ that he wanted to kill me and my family.
Thank God my daughter was not in my vehicle, or anybody else at the time.
We know exactly who you are. I have gone about my day. I have carried on my meetings. And we will not hide. And I will continue to fight against anti-Semitism, Islamophobia, and all other forms of hate.
You have an issue? Take it to our office.
You want to run me off the road? That’s a different story.
We know who you are, young man, and the police are going to be paying you a visit. And I hope what you did this morning is worth it — to you, and to anyone else who plans on doing this to anybody within our district, state, or country.”
According to Forward the man charged in the incident is Feras Hamdan, 36. The police report states that Hamdan pursued Miller in his car and forced him off the road, yelling at him and waving a Palestinian flag during the confrontation.
Miller also made a chilling 911 call after the incident. In the call, he told police:
“I was cut off by a man in a Tesla who held up a Palestinian flag to me and then rolled down his window and said that, ‘I’m going to cut your throat and your daughter’s.’ And he said, ‘You’re a dirty Jew.’”
The Rocky River Police Department confirmed that Miller initially called to report a road rage incident on Thursday morning. While he was unable to wait for officers at the time, he returned to the station at 2 p.m. to provide a written statement. Police said the suspect, Feras S. Hamdan, later turned himself in and is currently awaiting a court appearance.
The attack has drawn strong bipartisan condemnation. In a joint statement, House Democratic leaders responded swiftly and unequivocally:
“We condemn in the strongest possible terms the attack on Congressman Max Miller and his family and are thankful they are safe. The rise in political violence in this country is unacceptable. This is a moment of crisis that requires Congress to act decisively in order to ensure the safety of every single Member who serves in the People’s House.”
What happened to Max Miller on a suburban Ohio road isn’t just some isolated act of rage. It’s part of a growing, dangerous pattern. When elected officials can be threatened in broad daylight and Jewish Americans gunned down outside museums in the nation’s capital, it’s no longer just a “discourse problem.” It’s a national emergency.

Comments
Some very nasty comments on X. The Jew is faking this. Zionist getting what he deserves due to Israel’s genocide blargle blargle blah blah.
I saw those. Infuriating. Perhaps it’s this:
https://legalinsurrection.com/2025/06/russia-iran-using-social-media-bots-to-destabilize-maga-from-within/
The entries DO look a bit “canned”.
I just got back from Gateway Pundit and the comments section is rife with anti-semitism. No doubt some of them, the agitators, are probably counter intelligence operatives. Who knows how many.
I believe the idea is to infiltrate MAGA, cause dissension, and disrupt Trumps agenda as much as they can.
I gotta tell you though. The anti-semitism is becoming nasty and quite concerning.
I never thought I’d see this in my lifetime…
“I never thought I’d see this in my lifetime…”
Oh, I did. I am not one of those Jews who sees antisemitism in everything, and in some cases I find “my” people less than what I want in my life.
But, that being said, the mask came off the Presbyterians not all that long ago, and anti-Jew remarks have become more accepted in society. Don’t EVEN get me started on the blacks regarding Jews. I’ll just say that Goodman and Schwerner paid the ultimate sacrifice for nothing.
Let an Ilhan Omar, or some other Dearborn type politician gain any traction, and Officer Friendly well be knocking down the door at 3AM, because they follow orders.
Yes. It certainly exists there, and there are plenty of extremists on the right side of the ledger, too. It’s not just bots or plants, either. Unlike what exists on the other left side, it’s not manifested in the streets and with violence or supported by mainstream elements. But the hate is real, even if there is keyboard warrior syndrome and tons of ignorance.
If you’ve looked at any comment section on PJ media for the last ten or fifteen years, the antisemitism is thick and strong.
Grizzly, I agree, but just so you’ll know there are a number of flavors of Presbyterians. The degree of rot in any organization seems to correspond to how long it has been in existence.
Yeah, pretty odd comments since the guy who did it turned himself in. Bots and trolls are a major problem. We have a few on this sight and they are also on every other sight I visit. No matter the topic at least a few post nonsensical stuff to try and rile people up. Doesn’t work that much, though
I’m starting to think those on the left are not right in the head.
That has been vividly apparent for several years now…
I wonder which side of the bars this attacker is “awaiting a court appearance” on.
Come see the violence inherent in the Left.
Well, they are being oppressed.
It’s the oppressors punished for oppressing, half of the who’s more oppressed rhetorical battle. It’s unwinnable as long as it stays in those terms. Anti-Palestinian hate is the corresponding thing on the other side, as you see.
Stable since 1948.
No it’s not. How foolish. Go watch MEMRI or Palestinian Media Watch and stop pretending the hatred is same. If you were as smart as you try to come off, you would not have such a problem discerning the difference. There would be no Palestinian hate, but for pre-existing Jew hate. Wake up!
Belief in preexisting Jew hate is part of preserving Judaism from assimilation, through permanent alienation. In the hands of the mob, it gives you unwinnable wars. In the hands of scholars, it gives you outstanding scholarship, attached to prophets more than philosophers. It doesn’t work out well in the former place, except in reducing assimilation.
In the 80s every academic catalog under Jewish Studies had a section Holocaust for Children. In the 90s there was an annual company christmas battle against company christmas decorations, which were taken as offensive to Jews.
Nowadays there are actual wars to point to but with not much curiosity how they stabilize into permanence.
Yeah, the “belief” is all in the head. The Holocaust and serial violence against Jews, by Christians, Muslims and atheists are fantasies. Understood. Jews are assimilated, despite this obsession to pretend the opposite. Jews are not engaged in victim competition either. You not only sound more foolish by the moment, but more bigoted. Of course, you’re more interested to hear yourself, or so it seems, so you will ignore the deficiencies noted and play the song yet again. Smart people learn.
Judaism is more Christian than Christianity, if you know how to explain it. Except everybody is a Jew, and every man is the Messiah. The Palestinians would lose that rhetorical battle. We’re more oppressed than you won’t cut it.
Now you are being assinine. It’s obvious you have no clue, especially about Judaism or the plight of Jews, but love the sound of your voice. It’s not about rhetorical battles, either, but real life. Your notion is quite foolish, as is your doubling down on such foolishness. Some might see it as antisemitic.
In all the places I worked over the years I nevrer remember, EVER, anyone objecting to Christmas decorations. As for this constant drumbeat of the holocaust, I am in partial agreement: some Jews use it as a cudgel like blacks using slavery. The holocaust was very tragic, but plenty of other people have been slaughered wholesale in numbers that made Hitler look like a piker. Enough already; it is time to move on. (I especially got a kick out of one of my classmates at a reunion bringing up the holocaust, then when we left, climbed into his Mercedes to go home.)
Bell Labs, the company netnews system, every christmas in the late 80 and early 90s. The company discontinued company christmas decorations as a result. Good job, Jews.
No one ever objected to xmas decorations, parties, trees, or songs. Never. Why would we?
There are two things I personally objected too at least internally. I’ve never really expressed these objections publicly before, the first was certain religious xmas songs I didn’t want to sing when I was in school. Non religious songs – no problem. The second objection I had was to creches on public property. Creches are religious. Xmas trees no problem. If you want to say don’t have menorahs either than I say fine. I would have no problem banning menorahs from public property.
Okay, let the trolls down click this post. Go ahead. Have it.
Others are welcome to as well if you disagree.
The one difference about the Holocaust was the number of Jews killed vs the total number, It was a big percentage.
As for other holocausts you are correct. Raw numbers killed by the mongols, the chinese, Stalin were all much higher, Pol Pot killed at least 1M – 2M I think. Turks killed a lot of Armenians. Some of these were clear genocides. Others were just a result of doing business I’m afraid.
WOW! If he had bought a Chevy, that would be using a cudgel. Do you really think refusing the Mercedes would have made a difference? Current events show more than ever that it is NOT time to move on. The Jews that wield cudgels are most likely to wear t-shirts saying “Not in my name” or pretending they are voices for peace.
“The one difference about the Holocaust was the number of Jews killed vs the total number, It was a big percentage.”
It’s also the systematic way it was done and the fact that remains the intention of millions (more than all Jews on the planet by far) TODAY.
But some say let’s pretend it’s ancient history, as if it could never happen again. As the hatred explodes across the planet because too many have forgotten.
ztakddot, when a government entity makes public space available for displays by private organizations, it may not discriminate against religious organizations that wish to make use of that facility to put up a religious display, whether it’s a creche, a menorah, or something about the principles of Satanism.
What makes the Holocaust different from other massacres in history is that the Germans had no reason to do it. The Jews were not their enemy; in fact Jews tended to be predisposed towards Germany, based on the Germans’ very humane treatment of them in WW1.
Jews held as prisoners of war by Germany, or living under German occupation, reported that the Germans treated them much better than their own governments had. So if the Germans had wanted Jewish support and friendship in WW2 they could probably have had it for the asking. Instead they decided to exterminate them for no reason at all.
And they made this a high priority, even higher than winning the war. They diverted resources they desperately needed for their war effort into killing Jews. As if they’d rather kill more Jews and lose the war than kill fewer and win it.
I can’t think of any other example in history of massacres committed for no reason. Generally people kill their enemies. People who are trying to take something from the killers, or who have something the killers want to take. The Armenians, for instance, were fighting the Turks, so the Turks decided to thin out their numbers by a million or so. Etc. The Holocaust seems to be the only exception.
Hitler demonized Jews because Jews were smarter than he was, in particular in debates in Vienna. He’d win an argument and come back the next day and the damn Jews would refuse to acknowledge that he’d won and started the same argument all over again. It sounds like any old comment discussion, but it really hit Hitler hard.
“What makes the Holocaust different from other massacres in history is that the Germans had no reason to do it.”
The only similar instance I can think of is the Iranian mullah regime’s fanatical antipathy toward Israel. Israel is a tiny little country two other countries and well over a thousand miles away. It has no hegemonic ambitions and got along with Iran quite well before the Islamic Revolution. There was no logical or practical reason for them to even want to annihilate Israel, let alone waste the better part of half a century, along with uncounted lives and trillions of dollars, bringing themselves to the brink of destruction trying to do so. And yet, driven by a religious prophecy that the mere existence of Israel stood between them and the institution of an Islamic reich, that’s exactly what they did.
Mil I understand your comment. As I said it’s an internal objection, I prefer that our governments not make space available for any religious objects,
In the case of most if not all mass murders there was very little reason for them. If a city opposed the mongels the mongels would put the entire city to death. Doesn;t seem either fair or reasonably.
A 100 million chinese were killed during their 19th century civil war. The chinese did the same kind of kill them al used by the monguls. This made very litte sense,
Pol Pot killed members of 1 ethnic group? Why? Insane.
Sure it does. It creates an incentive not to oppose them. Surrender and live, or roll the dice, but know that if you lose you will certainly die.
No, he didn’t. He killed intellectuals, and anyone else who might have resisted his goal of establishing a society built entirely on pure communism, not contaminated by vestiges of pre-communist societies.
The Japanese also killed intellectuals, because they were more likely than workers to engage in resistance. It was a purely pragmatic decision. So they inspected people’s hands, and if someone’s hands were smooth and not calloused they shot them. That way there would be no resistance to fight.

As par usual, I will say to you, you know absolutely nothing about Jews, Jewish history, or values or spirituality. Yet you, like so many people today who aren’t Jewish, feel that you can tell us who we are and what we are about. No thanks keyboard warrior. We are not victims no matter how many times you say it or how much you believe it. Every day I live and breath I prove that. People In Israel are still going to work, surfing, having Shabbat dinner, getting married, giving birth all while missles and bombs are raining down on them. Many have no bomb shelter or safe room, but life goes on. Living is our way, our ultimate act of defiance. Living, connecting, being with each other. We don;t worship death, destruction, murder. We don’t celebrate our enemy’s deaths, we don’t march in the streets demanding that people hate Iranians or Palestinians. That’s something you’ll never understand with your useless victim olympics obsession. I’m pretty sure you would win the gold medal in your own game of dehumanizing people. For the Jewish people it’s not a game, it’s called life and it’s one we embrace with joy and wonder.
Nothing angers Hardin more than a Jew defending himself.
Nicely written.
C’mon Hardin, I’m sure you’ve got some sort of pithy, pungent “oppression games” retort for this, don’t you? Some sort of non sequitur, a bit of fuzzy logic, perhaps a deflection or two?
rhhardin also seems to know nothing about Christians.
I don’t respond to rhardin. He’s an antisemite who I believe delights in skirting the line between covert and overt antisemitism in his writings. He uses a similar tactic with his other writings, All are designed to try and stir people up. I won’t play his game. I don’t read his posts and I don’t respond to them.
BTW: I refuse to interact anymore with our other well known trolls here. I don’t read their posts and I don’t respond. I don’t even get angry anymore. it’s pointless.
The lefty wokiesta call for mobs to spring up and ‘get in their face, make them unwelcome’ take to the streets, characterizing those who disagree with their ideology as ‘nazis’, evil, vermin is raising the political tension and lowering the bar for political violence. This situation is unlikely to end peacefully when one set of ideologues instigate, welcome, incubate, encourage and support violence, and disorder. The eventual pushback is very likely to overreach… but perhaps those excesses will serve as an object lesson to deter the anarchists for a couple decades.
Max it’s time to get you a good dashcam. You will then have the evidence to put the scum in jail. Don’t get mad, GET EVEN!
Can you imagine the videos they can pull from the Tesla the twerp was driving?
Read the local story that said that the vermin was a natural born citizen of the US and a physician. I hope that he is found guilty of assault with a deadly weapon and that the State Board pulls his license.
Get a dash cam. 360 degree view one. I would suggest them for every Republican. Dems don’t need them as “they always tell the truth”…. or so they say.
There is quite a lot I’d like to write about the incident, the perp, the various commenters on social media, progressives, and dramacrats. I just can’t without inviting a visit from the friendly or maybe not so friendly guys in blue,
There has always been antisemitism, but I’ve never seen so much of it and people being so open and accepting about it. As I’ve said before unless serious action is taken on many fronts Jews are going to be in serious danger in this country and if they are in serious danger in America in the 21st century where else can they find a measure of safety and security,
On the bright side, you feel alienated. That part works.
So, at last you’re coming out of the closet about your Jewhatred. That must feel liberating.
I’m giving you the solution to this eternal problem. Stop playing the oppressed card. Then you can argue something that wins.
Your rationalizations are feeble and unimaginative, and merely demonstrate how much you want to hide your black heart from decent people.
We have anywhere from 10,000,000 to 20,000,000 illegals in our country. A significant portion on government subsidies; get free healthcare, and free education for their kids. Even if 90% of that 10 to 20,000,000 are self-supporting and contributing that leaves 1to 2,000,000 who won’t go along with that. They are the rabble rousers; they attack people; they destroy property; they disrupt anything that they don’t agree with; and they have no fear of being arrested or punished for the most part. This is what has to change. You are illegal, you rape, murder, destroy property, get caughtyou get sent home and you don’t come back. Housing all of them in jail and detention facilities may be difficult, but we have to keep as many as we can there. Too many judges, turn them loose, which tells them that our law means nothing. And sooner or later, some of them are going to turn on those judges.
This is a long comment. The United States has been the most generous nation ever created on this planet. People used to come here because they could take risks and do things they could not do in their home locations because of tribal, religious or governmental restrictions. If one works, those can be overcome here. But we’ve seen far, far, too many come here to take. Advantage of our (taxpayer) generosity. Cannot continue as is.They know what they get for free here is better than anything they could get at home.
On the one hand, I am glad to see that the antisemitism is now affecting legislators, and not just powerless college students. Maybe now something will be done about it.
The guy was apparently a doctor. Has he treated any Jews?
Hadassah Magazine, November 2024: “Combating the Shocking Rise of Antisemitism in Health Care”
https://www.hadassahmagazine.org/2024/10/31/combating-the-shocking-rise-of-antisemitism-in-health-care/
A blurb: “While both antisemitism and anti-Israel sentiment had been rising in recent times, including within health care, the Hamas attacks on Israel accelerated the trend. Jewish students and professors on medical school campuses say they were taken aback by the outpouring of anti-Israel schadenfreude. Incidents have included direct harassment, such as when a student at Georgetown University Medical School direct messaged “Free Palestine” to Jewish peers during a Zoom class lecture, as well as official statements from student organizations. In one example, the American Medical Student Association—one of the oldest independent student health care groups in the country—issued a statement expressing solidarity with student protests across the country and demanding “immediate action to address the ongoing genocide in Gaza.””
According to some, it’s just part of some oppression game or a tool to use against criticism.
Israel treats sick Palestinians in Israeli hospitals. That’s one of the things that Hamas was anxious to shoot down or blow up, because it’s the winning argument for Israel. Nothing about more oppressed than you.
Nothing about obsession over irrelevancy than you. Good to see you have no issue with a doctor mistreating any patient, no matter their persuasion, including ones they have stupid ideological difference with. You are showing how dumb you can be. Thank you very much.
I wonder how long he will be a doctor and if the virulently anti Trump/progressive AMA will make a statement.
